  1. I would advise you to go by bus. If you choose to go by auto, he will fleece you and you may have to shell out a fortune.

Hello You have direst Bus which takes 1 hour and 15 minutes to reach Thoraipakkam in peak hours and 1 hours in Normal hours. if you take an auto it will take 45 minutes and it is too expensive ( Rs.100 to Rs.140) the bus fare will be around Rs.6/- only. 19 series buses will go from T.Nagar Bus stand (inside)

    if by Auto you take the following route to reach thoraipakkam.

    T.Nagar Terminus - CIT Nagar - Saidapet - Raj Bhavan - Anna University - IIT - Madhya Kailash - Taramani -(SRP Tools) - Kandanchavadi - Perungudi - Chanda Paints - D.B.Jain College - RRE Thoraipakkam.
