Pluckin ma eyebrows???

Question

i av really thick bushy eyebrows but am really afraid that if luck them i might overdo it

im going up to year 9 and get teased alot bcoz of them

plz help!!!

Go to a salon and get your eyebrows done professionally for the first time.  They can tell you where to pluck, what will look best for your face shape and most importantly; they will tell you where not to pluck.  Once you have them done once the right way, it's then simply a matter of repeating what you have learned. Don't go for a pencil thin line, keep the part over the corner of the eye by the nose thicker and taper the line towards the  side of the face.  Always pluck any eyebrows that are across the bridge of the nose.  Here's about.com's article on brow grooming with some good tips and ideas:

i suggest you go get your eyebrows waxed for the very first time.

the very first time i was getting them done, i had really thick eyebrows and i decided to let a professional shape them

& then from there, i just plucked the stray hairs (:

it's not as painful as it looks either!

I had the exact same problem when I was younger ... The first time I did anything to my eyebrows my friend actually plucked them but keep in mind she had a sister and a mom she helped too and was good at that kind of think. If you arent lucky enough to have that as an option go to a place and get them waxed the first time and after that you can just pluck to keep the shape they created where hairs start to grow back.

My niece bless her was terribly teased about hers and she is only 10.  I plucked them or her as my sister is a wimp.  They did meet in the middle so just made them separate and lined them up with the inside of her eye socket with an invisible line as it were. Then tidied up underneath.  Stlll looks natural just neater and more defined.

My tip for doing this at home is to have a hot bath first or apply a hot flannel for a few minutes.  Opens the pores and makes it easier and less painful to pluck.

The first time i had mine done i was a trainee hairdresser and a friend at the salon did mine.  Would recommended getting a good friend or a professional to do it first for you so you have a template to follow in future.  Nothing worse than over plucked imho

Go to a beautician. I also have massive eyebrows, but i'm a boy so i get away with it.

  Find a picture of the shape of eyebrows you want.  Then outline where you want to pluck with a pencil (such as eyeliner or lipliner).  Then tweeze out all the hairs on that line and wash off the pencil marks.

you should ask a sister/mother/close friend to help you out the first time to make sure you dont overpluck.

the inside of your eyebrow should be in line with the inner corner of your eye.

use an eyebrow brush to get the natural shape of your eyebrows, and dont pluck above your brows. use good tweezers.

i would reccomend waxing, its cheap and much easier, then you just have to pluck the odd hair out and it lasts longer.
