i plucked all my upper lip hair today..and its still dark!..how come?

is it because about 3 months ago i always use to shave my upperlip hair..but now that i plucked it,how come its still dark??

Waxing the upper lip hair is the best and most long lasting. Shaving makes the new growth like little stickers and plucking doesn't last long at all. It's not expensive and they even have some home kits so you can wax it at home.

The only reason I can think of that it is still dark is that you have super fine hairs coming in that are hard to see but all together they cause a dark look. idk???

waxing, and bleaching, that's what i do. the shaving might have done the darkening trick thogh..

Shaving doesn't make the hair actually grow darker, but it does make it grow back with a cut edge, which makes it appear darker.

Bleach or waxing (preferably) is the way to go. With bleaching, the hair will still be there, but will be lighter so no one can see it. With wax, the hair is removed totally.

plucking facial hair is not really the way to go.you could bleach the hair on your upper lip so it wont be that visible.

Shaving facial hair will make it turn dark and give you an 5 o clock shadow this lady my mom works with shaved all her facial hair and then she forgot ot shave one day and she came in with a 5 o clock shadow.

You shaved it! Yikes! What were you thinking! I do not know why but it will come back thicker and darker. You should wax it girl!
