I am traveling from the U.SA. to Europe this summer and i have a digital camera charger that says :

Input:100-240~ on the back

Does this mean i only need a plug adapter and not a voltage converter?

  1. radio shack has an adapter with a few different plugs which should be alright.

since the camera automatically converts the voltage.

  2. Yes.  The note on your camera states that european voltages will correctly charge your camera.  The problem will be wtih the adapter.  In Europe, some main hotels also have the US plug configuration but many use the standard 2 hole design.

There are several sites that show what the plug configuration is in many counries over there.  Here is one of them.
