I plugged tier 2 months ago and about 2 weeks ago I noticed that tier slowly leaking. It went from 3 to 2.5 after 100 miles. So I took tier off submerged it in water and found that same spot is leaking air. Plugged it second time but this time used two plugs but after week or so I noticed that it did not help. Is there any better way to do this? Should I use 3 plugs?

  1. its cut is probably to deep that the plug isn't going to work time to get a new tire

  2. YOU CAN USE RUBBER CEMENT WITH THEM

your better off patching your tires .plugging can lead to belt separation

  3. Your tire sounds like it is separating on the inside.  If you plugged the tire with two plugs the hole is large enough to warrant a replacement tire.  Any further plugs will only cost money, so replace the tire.  And, watch where you're driving.  The best way to repair a tire is to have it patched on the inside.  The air pressure will help keep the patch in place after it is vulcanized and sealed.

  4. You go a tire dealer.  He removes the tire from the rim, and patches it properly from the inside.  I presume your hole is in the tread.  If it is the sidewall, your tire is dangerous and needs replacing.
