Question:

Plug in bathroom sink. off the nob and stuck. Help?

so my semi-metal plug is stuck in the sink and it won't come out. I have tried mini suction cups, heavy duty magnets (thats how we know semi-metal),vaccum cleaner. I am all out of ideas. can someone please help. my brother and sister in law are coming tomorrow and we need to attempt to get this out! Thank you in advance.

  2. put a screwdriver through it or s***w a s***w through the top and pull it out you will need a new plug after

  3. metal contracts when cold expand when hot.try ice on plug bit heat on outside bit little lubricant.hope for best

  4. look under the sink and use your hands to lift the rod that controls the height of the  stopper. Thats all you have to do.After the guests are gone you can repair it correctly.

  5. Have you tried a knife under the plug to break the suction? x

  7. You could try using a sink plunger to suck it off (oo-er).Failing that,unscrew the waste pipe from underneath and push it out with a skewer or something.Dont forget to put a bucket underneath !!!!

  8. Off the 'nob' do you mean chain? Simply put the chain back on with a pair of pliers then pull it out. Option B would be to get a thin flat screwdriver around an edge and prise it out. Thirdly if you get desperate maybe put in some icy water which may make the rubber seal in the plug contract and then pull it out.

  9. knock a nail through chain 'hole' pull out with pliers .
