  1. If you could be more descriptive of what "change a bath over" means, someone might be able to give you a worthwhile answer.

If you're only referring to changing a bathtub, and it's a free-standing one, about half a day (assuming the person has someone to help move those heavy monsters around).  That also assumes no floor work is required.

If that tub is built-in, and surrounded by tile, it could take 2 or 3 days, or more (requires time for mortar and grout to set, etc).

  2. There are a number of variables here, is it tiled down to it, were there built in upstands that went under the tiles etc.

Had mine done a few months back, we had a big corner bath (some old horrible two tone brown euuuughh) and had it swapped out for a straight white one, so the pipework had to move a few feet as well, and my plumber did it in the space of 2 hours..... but to be fair he is one of those plumbers that is a rare find, always turns up or rings if he can't, gets in, gets out, gets his money...... doesn't take breaks either

Shouldn't be too long if there are no problems when he does it. Keep an eye on him though.

  3. What are you going to change it over to?

  4. I guess as much time as he wants to charge you.  He is in demand and you have no choice!

  5. only 2 million years
