I have a house that I am renting in NC and I live in CA. The hot water faucet in the bath shower is leaking. I need to get someone to fix it. What needs to be done and how much should I expect to spend? My tenants just moved in and I want to solve it for them asap without breaking the bank. Thank you so much.

  1. that depends if you know how to do it it will probably cost around fifteen bucks depending on what is actually wrong with it.  Its probably a seal or something thats gone out most are generic and you can find them at your common hardware store (lows or home depot) If you don't know what your doing and have to call a plumber it will probably be over a hundred dollars

  2. It sounds like it may just be the O ring on the hot water tap spindle. If not perhaps the whole assembly needs replacing, a simple job as it just screws into the tap body. Turn the water off at the mains and give it a go yourself or call a plumber, either way it shouldn't break the bank.
