Does anyone know what this thing is called?

  1. This gadget looks like a type of flopper in the toilet tank.  White plastic and its in the plumbing section of Home Depot.

It looks like an end that&#039;s normally attached to a small rubber hose that slips on over a faucet spigot, the other end of which is usually a hand held paddle with holes to allow water flow.  My mother used to use one to wash and rinse her hair in the sink.  I don&#039;t even know if they&#039;re still available.   If they are I&#039;d think it would have to be in a good hardware store.

  3. looks like a flexible pipe union where you join two different pieces of pipe of different sizes together...or ..it also resembles a commode plunger that you unstop drains with
