  1. I tried this with a few apricot pits; however they were from my own tree.  I think I soaked them first, and also cut the pits a little. I do have one healthy plant, but it will apparently need fertilizing or or grafting before it produces apricots.

I started the plant in a flower pot indoors; and it is too fragile to move outside yet. This is a fun endeavour, though. Good luck - and talk to a gardening centre when you have a chance.

  2. We have a plum tree, and every year little trees start in our yard from the fruit that falls on the ground without any help from us!  We try to keep the fruit picked up, but it's an old tree and produces thousands of plums every year.

Now I guess the question is: would these trees bear fruit?  I don't really know, we always cut them down.

  3. too cold I would have thought

  4. I Doubt it, but you can but try!

  5. You've turned into one.
