  1. None unless a person wants to come to America and not want to be an American.  You know, like waving Mexican Flags in American streets and not making any attempt to speak English and all our weenie politicians kissing their butts for votes......

This stuff of America being a country if immigrants stopped being true when we became a big nipple.  When the earlier immigrants  came to America they did not get free food, free schools, free healthcare, free this, free that, free housing and on and on and on.

I saw a T-Shirt the other day that said "Welcome to America, Now speak English.

Let em come in the front door and I'll be cool with it.  Sneaking in the back door then sucking us dry is a crime.

  2. the uniqueness of american society is both its plural and yet monolithicness - ie come fr all over the world and yet we call ourselves american. look at the family names of all americans - its from all over - melting pot of the world. each hv their own distinct culture / food etc and yet we r one.  lately however some elements r changing the scene - come to america and not wanting to assimilate / accomodate into 'americanness'.  thats frightening - i think u know which grp this is.

also the anglo-saxons and all others need to give in.  look at obama. chances we still vote according to color.  if elected, we wld surmount that divide!
