im 250( well im 325.. but im working on it... no joke) and im 16yrs old. and im look to be a actress on Disney, Nick, The-N the whole Tween/Teen thing so my fans can grow old with and and i can conncet with them, because they are my age. My mom doesn't thing i can do it. i finish just asked her why, and she told me" you have 3 problems... 1. your Black 2.your a women 3.and your FAT! it hurt big time i haven't talk to her in 5 days... i cried for like 7 hrs! i just i have this dream and this love for something and the one person that should all way back me up. lets me down and the hardest way ever. man you cant believe how bad it hurt. i have a talents i've be singing since 3 or 4, dancing since 4 and acting since 11. im haven't done anything professorial, becuase she want me to do fashion.

well question is, do you thing i can make it and is disney Channel/Hollywood Record ready for a plus size girl. (not every girl Skinny like Cyrus)

start with classes at school then do plays at shcool build up your resume get experience! then get an agent and if you want to be succesful it will take years of hard work slowly climbing the ladder of success but if you get a chance to do somethign big go for it!

Yeah, you have a chance. Sweetheart you're beautiful, and there are parts for everybody. I'm an overweight actress as well, and yeah, sometimes it can be discouraging, but then you have to remember that we aren't all twigs. You have a chance. Don't let your mother discourage you. Look up to actresses like Queen Latifa, Raven Symone, Monique, etc. Girl, you aren't alone.

yea i think you can make you only gotta believe in yourself don't let nobody discourage you. i weigh 279 but it don't look like it  and i want 2 be a actress and thats what i am goin 2 be even if people say i will never make it. don't let it phase you do what you gotta do if you want 2 lose weight lose weight 4 yourself and not because others want you 2 other than your doctor. and i looked at your pic your pretty and don't look like your 325. do what you love and if its actin then thats what you do its your life so live it. i support you.

raven symone from that's so raven made it big. she's black and she's a women. if you've watched the show, there's this one episode where she designs a dress for a fashion show and a lot of it is about weight issues in the media. raven thinks she's gonna be wearing the dress she designs but the woman in charge tells her she's too fat. and then because the show's on disney channel, "the moral of the story" is that looks/weight don't matter. i've also read magazine articles about raven and she talks about problems her weight has given her but she's happy the way she is and she still made it big despite everything she had to go through.

i would hope the fact that you're black and a woman wouldn't be too much of a problem in this day in age but there are still some racist/sexist people out there that you might have to deal with some day. i hate to break it to you but your weight may be a problem, simply because a lot people are so obsessed with being skinny that they think it's the only way to be beautiful. of course they are wrong but that's the affect the media can have on people. however, i think the more talent you have, the better a shot you have at making it big. you just have to be ready to face rejection due to things you have no control over. it has nothing to do with you, just the single-mindedness of whoever's casting the roles. all actors/actresses have to deal with it though. they have some quality they have to control over (tall, short, fat, skinny, black, white, asian, hispanic, man, woman, young, old, etc) which can cost them a role they deserve. you've just gotta push past the rejection, realize it wasn't your fault, move on, and keep trying.

i wish you the best of luck because i think if you do make it big, you would be an excellent role model for the kids who watch your show :)

p.s. i'm very sorry your mom said that to you. i'm sure that must have hurt very much.
