Plus size modeling agencies?

Question

im plus size and I was wondering if ya'll knew about any modeling agencies in Canada that take models that go up to at least size 18? Im a size 18 or 19 and Im really interested in modeling.

The top agencies (Ford, Wilhelmina, Elite, Next, et al) book plus size models from sizes 8 up through size 18, with some bigger girls getting a couple of fit bookings. The most requested sizes these days are 12/14, but girls within the entire size range to find work.  Ford has a Toronto office, so you can start there.

Keep in mind that you need to be at least 5'8" to be considered - it's a very difficult industry to get into, but you have to walk in the door with the right stats, a marketable look, the time, money and professionalism to get your career off the ground, etc. It's not an easy thing to do.

I dont see whats soo bad about bigger girls ; as long as they eat healthy and tone up their legs and tummy , well nothing different,

I think the plus size models look wayyyy better then size zero models who dont have a single ounce of fat !

don't know any sorry,but its better seeing a model with curves(not obese) than a skinny model that dies from drugs and starvation!! but 90% of the ppl in america is overweight

Plus size models are not a size 18, a plus size model is a size 8 which is the average american, I'm sorry but you can't. Whitney from americas next top model was a size 8 and she was a plus size model

Generally plus size models need to be right at size 14.  I only know this from seeing a show on TV about it recently.  The agency was located in Toronto.  Most of the agencies will be in the bigger cities like Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver etc.  Good luck!
