Plz Answer! My Dad is my Teacher?

Help! my dad is my gym / PE coach.This is my first year of high school and i don't want my dad to ruin it.My dad is the type of dad that doesn't want his little girl to grow up.So far,he has called me my nickname from when i was a baby on accident in front of my friends and the "mean click" and i have a older brother in 11th grade he said don't worry just talk to him it will all be better.lesson # 1- never listen to your brother. when i talked to my dad alone he blew up and now he is harder on me than the rest of the class. i have thought about maybe skipping but then i would be grounded and i cant change classes bc he is the only one there. Now i don't want my dad to be super hard on me or being mad at me i mean i love my dad but i don't want him embarrassing me?

Come on now, give your pops a break.  if you love your Dad that much then you shouldn't care what other people think-- think of it this way-- they're probably jealous of the relationship you have with your Dad.

Trust me I have 2 girls (still very young) and I hope to have an open and honest relationship with them during their teen years.  Open up to him and tell him how you feel.  I'm sure he's been in that position before when he was young.
