  3. Yes, it can be a cancer. Not all cancers are painless.

Here are a list of places you can go to

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NCI-designa...

  4. The indications given by you are somewhat not clear and it may not be cancer also but and it is not sufficient. Usually the pain may not be present. The purpose to go to doctor is for practical evaluation and to find the exact position by necessary tests, like mammograms etc. I am giving below the symptoms of Breast cancer to enable you to assess the position yourself before going to the doctor for check up.

Knowing the signs and symptoms of breast cancer may help you to discover the disease early. When the disease is discovered early, you have more treatment options and a better chance for a cure.

Most breast lumps aren't cancerous. Yet the most common sign of breast cancer for both men and women is a lump or thickening in the breast. Often, the lump is painless. Other potential signs of breast cancer include:

        * A spontaneous clear or bloody discharge from your nipple, often associated with a breast lump

        * Retraction or indentation of your nipple

        * A change in the size or contours of your breast

        * Any flattening or indentation of the skin over your breast

        * Redness or pitting of the skin over your breast, like the skin of an orange

A number of conditions other than breast cancer can cause your b*****s to change in size or feel. Breast tissue changes naturally during pregnancy and your menstrual cycle. Other possible causes of noncancerous (benign) breast changes include fibrocystic changes, cysts, fibroadenomas, infection or injury.

If you find a lump or other change in your breast — even if a recent mammogram was normal — see your doctor for evaluation. If you haven't yet gone through menopause, you may want to wait through one menstrual cycle before seeing your doctor. If the change hasn't gone away after a month, have it evaluated promptly.

Please do not mind and I request you to visit your Oncologist for necessary evaluation. Best of luck-

  5. People tell you to see a doctor because this is the type of situation where someone need to actually look at the bump and examine it to try and figure out what is going on. The only answer than becomes . . go see a doctor. You will not receive good answers, only guessing from this forum.

In general . .though . . what you describe does not sound like breast cancer. Cancer is generally painless . . but again . . no one here can see or examine you so no one knows. Even a doctor may have difficulties telling what this is . . and may need a biopsy to look for answers.

    Good luck.

  6. I had breast cancer and a mastectomy almost 2 yrs ago.  Have you had a mamo?  Don't let this go, for God sake please see an Oncologist.  I am going to have a second mastectomy because more cancer was found.  This is not normal and I feel like I'm going to cry because I know what you're going through.  E-mail me.  I need to talk some more to you.  Please, see a doctor.

Edit; We tell you to see a doctor because that's where you are going to get the answers you need.  We can tell you of our experiences, but you need the professional answer.  As I have said, I had and now have again, breast cancer.  I don't know what I would have done if I didn't have to support and caring doctor I have now.  I'm scared for you.  I want you to have this taken care of.  the longer you wait, the worse it will get.  It will spread to other areas of your body.  So please, listen when we say to see a doctor, not later, NOW.

I must add this.  Panda said you don't have pain with breast cancer.  NOT so.  That's how I found out.  I had pain from the tumor as well as my neice who also had breast cancer.  Just because it's not the norm, doesn't mean it's fact.  Everyone is different.  I'm sorry Panda, but I had pain where the tumor was.
