Plz. Helpppp????

Question

6 days ago I stole something from my local grocery store...it was under $3...but I know it was still wrong...I live in a small town and we don't have security officers just camera's...well my question is how likely am I to get caught and if I do what will happen. I'm 20 and it would be my first offense EVER. I've been in the store since then and if I was gonna get caught wouldn't I have already been. I'm really scared...I haven't been able to stop thinking about it and I can't sleep or eat...am I over reacting....I know i'll NEVER do it again. Help

If I were you I would take the item back to the store.  If you no longer possess the item, then go to the store, tell them what you took and pay them back for it.  I'm sure that they will be grateful that you came clean about it.

hmmmm...the best thing to do is to turn yourself in....best way to get the weight off your chest...that or just wait and see...i think how this works is that everyone once and a while people go over the security cameras to see if anything did happen..they could check it every week or once a month...but it is your decision...turn yourself in or wait....*shrug* at least you know what you did was wrong i hope you decide soon and stop stressing.

MOST LIKELY your escapade during that time was already recorded in the security monitor of the local grocery store, they won't press charges since you did it only once, but if the camera spotted you again and doing the same thing maybe then they will press charges and you will be arrested by the local police officers there in your local town.

You are scared? YOU SHOULD BE. Probably by now, the local grocery owner and their staff already been alerted of you. So once you entered the grocery once again, somebody is already following every move you make. DOING BAD THINGS HAS KARMA. So you cannot sleep at night. Thinking of the consequences of your wrong doing. SO NEXT TIME DON'T DO IT AGAIN. If you want to lead a simple and straight life and not going to the slammer think before you act.

Dont worry about it.

I usto do Loss Prevention for some stores and the camaras are mainly there when they are doing an nternal investigation.

And many stores policy states that they cannot stop anyone for anything under 5 bucks.
