  1. How old is he?

Give him some paracetamol or if you are really worried see a doctor.

  2. please state an age....wet washcloth on forehead... juices,,,pedialyte...fever reducer liquid from walgreens....100.9 is still barely nothing to be too concerned...103,, then u got a problem...

    any other symptoms..??

  3. He's temp is quite hight, but nothing to rush him to ER about. Try giving him some baby panadol, and have only light clothes on him

Make sure he gets lots of fluids also :)

I only took my children to the doctors if their temp reached over 40degrees (c) (104 far)

  4. Give him as much water and juice as possible to counter the dehydration that's the main cause of the discomfort of fever. Massage his foot, as it helps get the sweat out, I have heard.

Hope he gets better by the time you read this.

  5. If your son is lethargic, take him to the ER right away.

If he is acting normal, aside from the fever, try to bring the fever down by the methods described by other contributors.

  6. 101 isn't a huge deal. Just make sure he rests, gets plenty of fluid, and if anything takes luke warm showers.

  7. Don't rush him to the ER (they're going to tell you the same thing I'm about to tell you and everyone else has)

    * Run lukewarm water in the bathtub and give him a bath.  Make sure you wet his head, too.  Don't make the water too cold because then you'll send him into shock.

    *  You can alternate tylenol and motrin every four hours

    *  If he's up and about, it'll be better for him.  (same as us older folks.  You'll feel better if you got up and did stuff as opposed to laying in bed all day)

    *  Freezie pops are really good because they're cool.  I think that they make them out of fruit juices and pedalyte.

    *  Keep him hydrated.

  8. sprite. lots and lots of sprite.

  9. Call your son's doctor for medication advice or if it gets higher.. well... take him to the Emergency room.

God Bless, and hope Joseph gets well.

    hugs!

  10. Ok,strip him of as many clothes as poss - you don't give an age but give a dose of paracetamol either in medicine form or tablet if he's old enough.(if he's able to take paracetamol)

Give him a cool bath and get him to drink some water.

His temperature is not at a dangerous level so far but keep a close eye on him,if the paracetamol doesn't help to bring down his temperature or his temperature raises and you have done all you can to cool him down, call your GP for further advice.

    Hope he feels better soon.x.
