Plz help. idk what it is but im depressed?

i know u all have problems of ur own

but i really need some help

idk who or what im mad at but im angry

my friend helped a little she said im angry at myself

can u guys help plz

i havent been able to sleep for 2 1/2 weeks

im tired and i think its getting to be a big problem

im am a 15 yo guy

  1. yea i think youre just angry at yourself. if you judge yourself too harshly then youll get really angry at yourself for stupid things. next time, instead of thinking about how you should have done something differently or better, think about the pros of what you did. for example if you only came in 2nd place at something, dont be upset that you didnt get in first, be happy that you got second. just think of the glass half full instead of half empty and give yourself pep talks about how great you are (just dont get too airheaded)

You need to contact your community mental health center.  If you don't' know who they are, maybe call a crisis center, or a close hospital may be able to tell you who they are.  You can either schedule an appointment with them, or go in during a block intake depending on how the operate.  Then someone will help point you in the right direction.  Depression is a disease the same as diabetes or high blood pressure.  Speaking to a professional can help you determine what is really going on, and the best way to deal with it.

  7. Fifteen is a difficult age - especially for a boy. If you think about most mammals, you know that once the young pass puberty, they are out on their own, ready to become independent hunters, and to form their own pack.

    In humans, our children reach puberty, but they are kept in a state of suspended animation for up to ten years or even more, while they go through high school, on to college or university. They aren't truly children any longer, but they aren't treated as adults either.

    Subconsciously they resent this - boys especially. And this is traditionally and typically the age when young men start to challenge their father's authority. In the natural scheme of things, it's the time when they separate from their families. And, until modern times, it was so among humans as well. Back in the 1400s, young men your age would have left their home, would possibly be courting or married, and would be living an adult life.

    This is all hardwired into us - it isn't something unique with you, it's just part of who you are.

    In many cases, young men manage to work off their aggression through playing sports - especially contact sports that simulate battles - basketball, football, karate, or performance sports, such as swimming, track and field, etc.

    You could try talking to a counsellor, or a psychiatrist, or you could try getting out on your own and working off some of that aggression. Do you jog? Running a few miles can get a lot of this stuff out of your system. And it will help you sleep better.

    But above all, reconize that what you are going through is normal. That doesn't make it any more fun, but it does mean that there's nothing wrong with you. You simply need to find a way to deal with this situation and sometimes understanding yourself can be the first step towards finding that crucial activity that will help you through it.
