WWI:

Germany & it's friends, the Central Powers, try to take over.

the Britain & it's friends, the Allies, say no.

The Allies kick Germany into embarrassment.

WWII:

Germany gets embarrassed from WWI and gets sucked into economic depression.

Adolf Hitler is like "I know how to get us out."

Hitler blames the Jews for Germany losing WWI.

Hitler takes power, illegally builds an army, takes over a few counties.

Britain notices and gets alarmed.

When Germany takes over Poland, Britain joins the battle.

The Japanese try to edge the American Navy by bombing Pearl Harbor in 1941. They fail, big time

Germany invades Russia in 1941, breaking a peace treaty between the two.

America decides to help the British fight the Germans in 1941 in Africa.

America joins the European front in 1944 on D-Day in Normandy, France.

In less than 365 days, Germany's butt is again kicked.

In late 1945, in a move to avoid invading Japan, the United States nukes Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, ending WWII.

In general:

Germany wanted control of the world, tried twice, failed both times.

That's basically it.

World War I began with the Great Schism. The Catholic and Orthodox priests were split on many issues including the rain forest. Then Pope Urban II issued the Atlantic Charter stating that the Roman Catholic church was going to be having casual Fridays from now on. This caused further tension in Europe. On December 7, 1941, a Serbian nationalist assassinated Ralph Waldo Emerson, the heir to the Kentucky Fried Chicken restaurant chain who was about to inherit the colonel's secret recipe. Outraged, both the Catholics and the Orthodox Christians invaded Serbia. This set off a series of declarations of war, starting World War I, or as it was known at the time, International Civil War 2. The war went on for the entire afternoon and ended at about quarter past five. People barely made it home in time for dinner. World War I was a tie, because both sides discovered the secret recipe for KFC: Chicken, grease, salt.

World War II did not actually happen, contrary to popular belief.
