Plz i need help with an ipod?

Question

ok i bought my brother in law an ipod nano 8g and he left it in the car out of the sun but when he came back to the car it look like the glass thing broke but it lights up but the glass is not broken it the screen inside of it and he took it back to wal mart where we got it from and they wont take it back because the 15 days is up its say i have to go to the manufacture but does anybody know if apple will take it back or how to do it so they can take it back thank you so much.

wal mart sucks,

they will try to say that the 15days are up even if you just bought is a few minutes ago(happened to me alot of times)!

tell apple that you bought it from wal mart  and when you opened the box (add which was a little damaged) and to your suprise the backscreen was broken and walmart will not listen to you,
