Adolescence is perhaps the most challenging part of life. Many teenagers have a difficult time concentrating on their schoolwork and cannot seem to keep their marks up enough to go on to college. Their parents may scold them for poor grades or disobedience in class, resulting in a lot of stress and frustration. They want to be free from under their parents’ rule, in some instances, enough that they are tempted to run away from home. The definition of “Adolescence†is the period in your life when you start to seek independence from your parents, and begin to think about your future. However, the three reasons teenagers struggle the most are the need for independence, the peer pressure that surrounds them, and their unpredictable future.
