You can also send an e-mail to the group's unsubscribe address which will look something like this: [e-mail]

log onto that group(s) at the top of the group near group title click edit membership- next page bottom right click leave group-

this can be done through e-mail but for unsubscribing to be effective right away, going to the group is the best fastest way

You have to go into each group you belong to, on the top line by the group name is a modify settings or something to that eefect, click on it, at the bottom will be a big button that says leave group. Poof, your gone.
