Gosh, wish I had that problem. I'm stuck in Central America. How about one of your interesting museums or a ride on a double decker or boating on the Thames. Act like tourists.

its open house in london today.. - where lots of places normally closed to the public become available to see, and normally free. so why not take them out for a wonder and catch an interesting building or something - places range from the ghurkin, to bank of england to small private houses, check out the website. warning - some very popular places can get v busy.. so chose wisely or else you'll end up queueing.

I think, you can go for an extraordinary floating restaurant...probably, you can have it at night or sunset...its a relaxing for your family over the tired working days...

How about the Science Museum ( http://www.sciencemuseum.org.uk/ )? They have a video game exhibit on, they're in Kensington and are open till 6pm. There are simulator rides, an IMAX cinema and lots of more. You can probably find something for all the family there. Or maybe go to Trocadero for some arcade game fun, followed by a meal at Rainforest Cafe ( http://www.squaremeal.co.uk/restaurants/... ) on Shaftesbury Avenue. Maybe a Sunday matinee show in the West End, Mary Poppins is on. Or a movie in Leicester Square.
