you know that awful feeling when you know something good is going to end?

it's just saying it's better to get rid of something/someone which you know if going to go eventually anyway, then to wait around and enjoy it while you know it's not going to be there forever.

btw i disagree. i believe 'it is better to have loved and lost, then to have never loved at all.'
