my mum wants me to drink one big glass of milk+2 dates+5 almonds+2 slices of bread.....in the morning before i go to college...

i know it sounds too much,i say the same thing.....but she is too stubborn to listen to me....

PLEASE DO TEMME HOW MANY CALORIES IS THIS ALL TOGETHER....i seriously have no idea....HELP ME.....WILL I BECOME FAT IF I EAT THESE EVERYDAY MORNING.....

  1. All those nuts and then still two slices of bread on top of that is just looking for trouble.

    Tell her that you want a compromise.

    One day the nuts and milk, and the next day the toast and the milk.

    Only way...

  2. You will not become fat, that is a healthy breakfast, and you will stay full until lunch.  Just eat what your mom sets out for you, it's a good and healthy start to your day

  3. Well, milk is around 60/70 Kcal pro 100 ml, so a big glass could be 300/400 ml. so around 200 Kcal for the milk

    5 Almonds should be around 150 Kcal (almonds are very caloric).. the  dates are around 100 Kcal (also very caloric) The two slice of bread are around 250Kcal, but it depends on the bread an on the weight (100gr around 300Kcal)....

    Well, if you didnt ate the almonds and the dates,  you would do a good breakfast...maybe putting a little bit honey or chocholate cream on the slices...

    Or you could choose for a classical breakfast with milk and cereals....

  4. If you are in college, you are probably old enough to make your own choices as far as eating.

    Tell her to leave you alone.

  5. You wont become fat if you eat these.  Your metabolism copes better when you have a big breakfast, smaller lunch and a small dinner.  

    If you are worried you could get Phaseolamin and Absorbitol from a health shop.  The Phaseolamin is Carbohydrate blocker which stops your body from absorbing a portion of the Carbohydrates that you eat.  The Absorbitol does exactly the same to fat in your diet.  So these two when combined with a sensible diet and exercise regime can help regulate your weight.

  7. (aprox)....1cup whole milk (150cal)+ 2dates (80cal) +5almonds (35-40cal) + 2 slices wheat bread (120cal) = 390 calories for breakfast

    honestly thats an awesome breakfast to start your day .... if you think about it a cup of cereal (sometimes a serving is even less than a cup) and its usually 130- 190cal a serving + milk which most likely your using more than a cup which is over 150 cal which = around 340 calories for just a cup of cereal!

    and pancakes or waffles with syrup... forget it!

    Every morning i have big glass of milk,100-200grams of cereal,handful of raisins and apple and maybe yogurt with almonds....
