Pmdg acars?

Does it actually work?, if so can i have an example of what i need to use for the captains ID on the initialization.

As far as I know, acars is not modelled, but keep an eye on their web site, as they may at some time, release a patch.

The ACARS simulation for PMDG aircraft is very summary.  A big part of the problem in ACARS simulation is that so much of it is communication with some other entity, and that currently isn't simulated in Microsoft Flight Simulator.  Perhaps some consensus standard will be developed one day and various add-on developers will be able to plug into an ACARS simulation in MSFS (and potentially with a network extension for VATSIM and IVAO).  That would be fabulous, but a tremendous amount of work, and it would work best only with some enhancements of MSFS, which Microsoft is never likely to make (they don't cater much to serious simmers).

I use ACARS for event times and that's about it (that part is accurately simulated).
