I need to know the bad effects to Aluminum cans.

And one good effect of it besides you can recycle it.

ohhh! did you know that recycling just ONE aluminum can has enough energy to power a tv for three hours ! thats important !

the good thing is you can make it a fuel because it release hydrogen when you combine it with water and gallium

The good efect of aluminum can is that it is light weight and saves energy in transporting goods.  THe previous container, glass, was expensive to transport.   Aluminum was rumoured to be toxic to the body, but there was some concern of it being used as a cooking medium.   I heard no rumour of it being toxic in the can, but perhaps you can research down that line.  Also America is dependent on foreign countries for Bauxite.    The mining conditions are poor in the third world countries, and not at the standrads of EPA in our country.

Aluminum damages nervous systems in both infants and adults. It is implicated in anemia, osteomalacia, glucose intolerance, memory deficits, and Alzheimer's, Lou Gehrig's (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis), and Parkinson's diseases. Scientists do not yet understand whether aluminum is a primary cause of Alzheimer's or is accumulated in the brain as a result of a malfunction caused by the disease. They do know, however, that aluminum wreaks havoc on human nervous systems and should be avoided.
