Poaching = hunt illegally or to poach an egg or other food in water or other liquid on a simmering heat.

Are you talking about hunting animals illegally?  Or poaching an egg?

encroach, filch, pilfer, plunder, steal, trample, trespass

If you mean poaching an egg though, I can't think of another way to say it.

Poaching means stealing something that, on the one hand, belongs to someone else, and on the other hand, runs wild.

If you hunt deer in a forest where you're not allowed to hunt, you're poaching.  If you have romantic liaisons with men that are supposed to be committed to other women, you're poaching.  

If you boil an opened egg in water, you're poaching, but I don't think that's what you're asking about.
