Pocket bike help?

im soo bored and stressed these days. So, i decided to buy a pocket bike

so some people said that its not legal to ride them down a public street. does this mean i can rip it down a side walk, and also could i ride it in a huge parking lot?(outdoors near a park)

  1. In my state not on  public roads side walks or bicycle  paths. Maybe that is one of the reasons no so many sell the toys any more.


  2. They sell street legal pocket bikes...

    street legal just means it has mirrors, tail/brake lights and headlights/turn signals

    In California you need a class M2 License

    If you have a regular license they probably wouldn't bother you too much, but a 14 year old riding one would be illegal

  3. in public places can cause problems.

    diffrent laws to diffrent places.

    go for private land, im australian.

    that for us can be under powerlines, were no other path or road is within a certain distance.

    other wise your breaking laws.

    state land were along water pipes.

    but here any public land with a flat surface such is good enough no.

    many of these bikes sit only in sheds as the riders now will no longer take the risk on such bikes.

    but the off road ones now that is a diffrent story.
