Pocket billiard to carom billiard?

Hi,

I have pocket billiard at my house.

I was wondering if there is any pocket plugs for pocket ball table to make it into carom billiard? and if there is such a thing, i would like to know where i can order one

I know Chevillotte Billiards (a French company) makes pocket plugs for their tables, but I do not know if they will universally fit any table. If you live in the USA, Olhausen dealers are often also distributors of Chevillotte tables, so you may want to find one in your area and ask them.

Like Johnny said, I haven't seen a set of pocket inserts in years.  It's something of a collector item if you do come across some.  I honestly don't know if anybody still makes them.  I thought about getting a set for my table once as well, just to get some feel for the game, but like Johnny says, it won't react the way that it should.  Furthermore, you're likely not playing on a 5' x 10' table.  Carom tables tend to play faster than pool tables and pool balls are going to be smaller and lighter than carom balls.  If you have any luck finding pocket inserts, let me know.  I'd still be a little curious.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

I have seen clamp on cushions to go in the pockets but they were not very good for serious play not to mention the smaller table

Im not even sure you can still buy them it has been years since I saw a set
