Pocono Raceway - Turn Two question

What about turn two at Pocono has it being referred to as the "tunnel turn"? It's a driver favorite as a reference and I've always wondered.

Yes. Turn 2 is called the tunnel turn because there is a tunnel that goes under the track right at turn two.

It is always bumpy where the tunnel goes under the track.  Drivers have to watch for it.
