  1. Itunes is just a listing service. You don't upload to there. You have to upload to a web host and then learn how to generate RSS code. The code is what you send to itunes.

Or you can upload to a web host that's just for podcasting. they will tell you your code. Since you are beginners, you can probably just use one of the free ones. The free ones are there just for practice. If you want to store past episodes or if you get listeners, expect to pay $5.00 a month for storage and bandwidth.

  2. You can use software to create an iTunes compatible podcast. The software will automatically encode the podcast feed for you. I would suggest FeedForAll, there is a free download at http://www.feedforall.com (there is both a Windows and a Mac version).

There is a tutorial that will walk you through setting up an iTunes compatible podcast - http://www.feedforall.com/itunes-tutoria...

    Goodluck!
