http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 has gone on to praise Arsene Wenger and he has gone on to label the Gunners boss as a ‘Super Coach and Human.’
The attacker feels that the French manager deploys some of the best footballing philosophy out there and he also admitted that the way the manager handles situations, makes it very easy for players to settle down at the club.
Podolski went on to join the Gunners at the start of the season, and so far he has had no difficulty in settling in at the club. He has been an active part of the team, and feels that there is a lot more to come from him in the future.
However, the player strongly feels that one of the prime reasons for the club doing as good as they are is down to Arsene Wenger and the way he handles things at the club.
The German thinks that without Wenger the team would be quite different and that the players are lucky to have someone like Wenger around.
“[Wenger's] a super coach and human. He speaks to everyone internally and has a clear philosophy about the inner-workings of the club," he said in a recent interview.
"People are very respectful to me here. When I leave the training ground, I'm not followed. I am happy to have taken this step. Not just in terms of football as I have also settled in well."
He then went on to talk about the draw against Bayern Munich, and admitted that for him it was a dream draw.
He continued: "It's a dream draw. I'm looking forward to seeing [Uli] Hoeness, Jupp Heynckes and my colleagues from the national team. However, there's a small advantage that we're playing at home first.”
"If you want to win the trophy, you have to take the opponents as they come."
Despite Podolski feeling like the upcoming match might be like a dream come true, there is still a lot of work to be put in from the team in order for them to overcome their German opponents.
Nonetheless, should Wenger play his cards right, Arsenal might be able to progress to the next round rather comfortably.
