Yesterday, when I loved you ?

I always waited for that train

with smile & graces

out in the rain

that never appeared

that never came?

you sold your love

to someone else’s heart trove

who held you

In a golden satchel

Held you as a dove

love in hand

love in glove

well love is tough

when your not good enough?

What about all the good things

We had ?

They seem to have disappeared

Into mist

Into mud

while I sit at home

contemplating

what went wrong

with my pet frog

Wearing old shoes

out of tune

an old played out smile

sitting on a log

later i think I"II go for a swim

with my pet dog ?

Wearing a new hairdo

feeling pretty tired

pretty bored

I appear to not have the answers

To this word call love ?

Yeah, if you had mastered the use of stanzas, she might still be with you today. You can't just squeeze poems out like toothpaste out of a tube, they gotta gotta have some kind of structure. Just gotta.

Nearly every poem that comes up here is like this. I mean guys, put different thoughts in different stanzas so there is some sense of structure and movement.
