Poem - If A Heart Could Speak?

If A Heart Could Speak

There is something within

This cold façade

Behind the walls

Old and barred

Hidden in the darkness

Cloaked by the shadow

I am not seen

A secret

A burden

A hope

A dream

Locked away

Out of view

I am waiting

To be born anew

I remain imprisoned

Only you have the key

You only need to turn the lock

And set me truly free

You alone

A pure white dove

A savior

My one true love

Reveal it all

Show me the light

Know the secret

Hold it tight

Save me
