We had a local solider die and this peom is dedicated to him. So what do you think?

Freedom

He fought for our freedom

He fought for our country

And even though he is gone

We will carry on

And help turn his dreams

Into our future.

You can feel his smile

As the sun shines bright

You can feel him standing near

And watching your every move

He whispers into the wind

“Don’t cry, I’m right here.”

God bless his family

For he gave his life

For you and me

To live in the land of the Free

He will live through each

Of us everyday.

The flags soar high

And the doves fly by

As we salute him

One last time

His tags will hang

In our hearts Forever!
