The blood of innocents you spill so freely,

Of those who can love and care so dearly,

Varied shape and size must mean so much,

As you drag the knife with your poisoned touch.

The velvet's on my hands, I can feel it too,

But that doesnt mean a thing to you,

It would be nice to see some mercy,

Your violence makes me feel so dirty.

I can see the fear in those you slay,

Murdering my faith in man every day,

So many more do the very same,

This world was never ours to claim.

Knowing they're dying now, dying for me,

Makes me dream that i can break free,

Of this tag that says "you're human too",

I hate myself for being the same as you.

  1. it's true.

It's very deep. This poem makes some see that whatever it is they have might have come from the murder of something innocent. It makes you think twice before buying any of these items. I like the last line is very deep.  It's a good poem I like it.
