Poem about stopping animal cruelty?

I wake up in this world today

thinking of tommorow

what will i see

a child holding it lovingly

or some one beating it thankfully

I just cant beleive of all the things that people would do

that they would beat a mutt or two

so please before you make up your mind

save a mutt dont destroy its life

Animal cruelty is a clear message

to pet owners as well as

people who are not

What I read is disturbing

but animal cruelty is done everyday

by people who no longer want their pets

Having a pet is like having a baby

that is its a full time responsibility

one can't just play house and then

abandon.

That is neglect.

If a person doesn't want the pet

don't beat it senselessly take it to the

animal shelter where it can be adopted.

Where it can be loved.

and go in loving and caring homes.
