Poem comments?

THE LONELY SKITTLE

Small and sweet

Sitting alone on a table

Like a ruby made of sugar

So defenceless

Yet utterly delectable

It tastes so delicious

Like a freshly picked strawberry

Only sweeter

It feels smooth and round

But if held for too long

It will melt in your hand

Leaving only its sticky crimson remains

And the smell of red berries

Ripe and luscious

It sits alone on the table

And cries out

Its silent plea

To be eaten

But no one can hear it

As it is only a piece of confectionary
