Poem for a birthday card...?

Question

does anyone no a poem for an ex boyfriend of 3 years...?

that i can use in a birthday card..?

we havnt talked for a month and 2 weeks he suggested we dont talk for 2 months but his birthday is in the week that would make it 2 months if that makes sence...and i would like something if its possible to make it so he knows i dont hate him and i still wont to be friends...?

Again, don't write a poem, it will make him think that you still have feelings for him (which you may do, I dunno) and that you wanna get back together, which is pretty much the opposite of what you said. Just write a small note saying," Hey haven't talked to ya in a while, knowing that its ur Bday, just wanted to wish you a happy one. =)

Something like that is pretty much good enough for your situation. Hope this helps.

Don't write a poem, it is too soppy.



If you want to be friends you need to not crowd him, so he can see that you've moved on from your relationship and are capable of acting "normal".

Just buy a nice card and write a short note, eg I know we agreed not to talk but I just wanted to say happy birthday, hope you have a great day, hugs <signature>.

Pop it in the post, don't get a gift.

If he has suggested not talking for a few months I assume you either argue a lot or else it isn't really over for one of you, so I suggest rather than forcing your current relationship into the shape of a friendship, you peel it back to the essentials, cool off for a while, then build it back up again as a friendship from the start.
