Poem of a girl who took the wrong turn ?

Question

it's raining it's pouring

cats & dogs outside

there's a young girl

with sweet little wishes

and pretty blue dreams

hollywood eyes

standin' there and gettin' all wet

she stands & frets

coz her boyfriend

just drove off with his pet

she walks alone home

with her club foot

she’s no cherry blossom

she looks more like a possum

that jumped out of a train

her hobbling & cursing

on her way home

she leaves her red shoes

by the drugstore

makes her feel quite insane

coz she doesn’t know who to blame

for her Hollywood dreams

have just been thrown

out into the street

for the producer

she couldn’t make it

she aint worth a penny

she aint a dime

she hangs down her head

from this crime

sorry she came from the wrong side of the road

whistling past the grave yard

love is blind took the wrong turn

Cool imagery, but it is a little heavy on self-deprecation. And the read is long. Try joining the lines to make it appear only half as long.

Hope this isn't about yourself. Right turns are always only a step away...
