Poem wording help please?

How should I say this line...

Her whisper PLACES him at peace

And nature in motion.

OR

Her whisper PUTS him at peace

And nature in motion.

I'm torn. Which makes more sense?

  1. PUTS him at peace makes more sense. Put someone at peace, put nature in motion. Yeah, that's better.

    SETS nature in motion.

    just because I really do not like to see the word "and" any more than absolutely necessary.

    her whisper puts him at peace

    and nature in motion

    I am going to change that line

    (Putting nature in motion.)

    I line the second line.
