i need help with some ideas for my english class, (poetry, uuhhgg). i have to wright a ballad, free verse, limerick, sonnet, and then one of my choice. SOMEONE PLEASE HELP! i hate writing poetry!!

I have one. It deals with a robin feeding its young. I hope you like it.

Dirt and Grass fill my beak

For it is worms i seek

So that  I can feed my young

Now its worth the songs I&#039;ve sung

Try writing Haiku. That is free verse expressing one thought. First line five syllables. Second line 7 syllables. Third line 5 syllables. It&#039;s not as hard as the others.

For instance:

The sun shines on me (5 )

Its warmth fulfills my spirit (7)

I am all at peace. (5)

I just made that up...feel free to use as much as you need of it.
