its very short.

and untitled.

i did it a long time ago.

The lights and the bright fade into night.

The darkness liess only within and only to sin.

The blood rushes, the heart beats.

The scar gushes, only to see that I and death have come to meet.

  1. Since you asked for my thoughts, don't be offended by anything. I'm just someone interested in reading poems and experimenting with/writing different styles of poetry.

It seems a little dark but then again, the best poetry often incorporates both aspects of light and dark.

I know this poem and "Annabel Lee" has almost nothing to do w/ each other, but that's the first poem that came into mind for me when I read it.

I like the vivid images in the poem, but I don't think the imagery alone can make this a strong piece of poetry. Ideas seem to be left off here and there but if you were thinking of adding more to the poem, it has the potential to be a pretty powerful piece. Left alone, I still like it considering the challenge of writing short poems.

I wanted to answer this question shortly because of an answer you gave to one of mine. It was "stupid prep."

Wow. I read a bit of your "About Me" section. So you say you hate war, but then why do you go around trying to start something? Honestly that's the first time I've ever been called a "prep" and I kind of laughed my *** off, so thanks for the humor. Tell me what's so "preppy" about me wanting to get some advice on what size clothes to get b/c I don't have money to waste shipping online purchases back and forth?

The "peace" t-shirts and "go green" phrases on purses, have never been my thing either, but if you really do care for peace and the preservation of the environment, you're doing nothing to support those goals by discouraging people to wear them, even if it is the clothes manufacturers that benefit from them the most.

  2. Sounds slightly depressing, personally I dont like it. It sounds like someone who slit their wrists too much and died. Scary. Good, though. But definetly scary.
