I love the poetry section on Answers - this is a poem I wrote for my darling mother who died over 30 years .I sat holding her hand before she diedYou thought I could not hear you as you held my hand and criedYou thought I saw no tears fall as you said your last goodbyeYou thought I was in darknes and never saw the sunriseYou thought I never saw your face with sadness in your eyesMy dearest one I heard you as you held my hand and criedI saw your tears fall as you said your last goodbyeSo think of me in fields of gold bright flowers beneath your feetSo think of me as petals float and brush against your cheekOne o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock fourReach out your hands and hold meJust as you did before."Dandelion" by her daughter Irene
