To make any URL your homepage you need to do the following:

1. Pull down the Tools menu and select Internet Options

2. Select the General Tab

3. In the Location entry box under the Home Page heading, type the URL of the homepage you desire to show.

4. Click the OK button and your done

You need to change your home page.  Go to your control panel  >Home Page >change it to http://www.yahoo.com/ don't forget to click o.k.
