- I have Bloch's but I want to get Freeds (I think their better), is it hard to switch from bloch to freeds?

-Are Freed pointe shoes easier/better to dance in?

-I'm kinda scared to make the switch because I'm doing very well in my bloch's but I really want freeds, Bloch has a much wider platform then freeds. Do you think I will still be as good in Freed's as I am in Blochs?

  1. Freeds are better and easier i have been doing point for 2 years and yeah there better, but they might feel difrent at first though.

    plz watch this video,VVVVV

good luck with ur  shoes! =]

  2. i do not take point but i do take ballet and i have friends that take point my advice is to try Freeds and you will still have your Bloch's if it doesnt work out. And if you switch back to the Bloch's and later decide to change to Freeds you can!! Just try.

Hope this helped(maybe best anwser 10 points!!!)

  3. I have danced in about every type of pointe shoe made and I promise that bloch's and freeds are roughly the same in terms of affecting how you will dance. Switching to freeds should not cause a problem or hindrance to you. However, after dancing for many years, I have moved away from the "wood and glue shoes" and am sold on Gaynor Mindens. If you haven't tried them before, I suggest you give them a shot. They don't work for everyone, but if they do, they are a lot more comfortable and easier to dance in.

  4. freeds are much less break in, but wear out and die real fast.

i would stick to the  blochs.

or buy both the bloch and the freeds and then wear them alternatively then the NEXT time you get shoes you'd know what you wanted.

  5. dont be

    im switching from ganyor

  6. It's gonna be the same ! you will still be good don't worry , well you will notice a little change but it's normal but it wont harm your dancing and it will be easier because you alwready had started with Bloch's ! I hope I helped you , have a nice day =) xxox
