Pointe pads?

i got my first pair of pointe shoes a month ago and i have some questions about the padding: should i be switching feet? (i have been)

how long do they last?

I don't think it will make a difference if you switch feet with the padding or not... but the padding can last years if you take really good care of it. Make sure you don't loose them, and handle them with care.

With pointe shoes, some people actually do switch feet to make them last longer. I find this would feel really weird but some people say it makes the shoes last longer.

if your talking about the pads- I don't switch feet (NEVER switch feet with the SHOES! that would be terrible! :-).  I just turn them inside out every-other time that I use them. it works.

They last WAY longer than the actual shoes! - depends on what type of pointe pads u got.
