  1. just keep practicing whenever you can. the more you practice the more you will get better at it. main thing is not to give up & keep being determined. good luck & i hope you make it.

  2. wow...u got some major competition.

This girl sounds very good, especially if she plays AAU. Your going to really need to work hard to outdo her.

Go to some basketball camps. I know that summer is halfway over, but I'm sure there are some that start in August.

If u can't go to or afford a camp, practise 2 hours a day.

1st hour practise your ball handeling skills, which a point gaurd MUST have.  Coaches look for PGs that have a handel on the ball, can make passes, and make there team mates better. They look at how well your shot is second.

2nd hour practise your shot. While shooting, imagine it is a game situation. Hustle after rebounds. If u have a neighbor or family member that can rebound for u while u move 2 shoot, that would be great.

    I also recommend u run/jog any chance u get. like 3x a week.

find ways to connect w/ the coach. if he runs a summer basketball program, get yourself involved in it so he knows u and the ability u possess. kiss a$$  if u have too.

It will be a hard journey but in the end u will succeed.

    Good Luck!
