  1. The fewest points a driver can earn is 31 the max is 150

    hope that helps (:

  2. 195

    185 for winning

    5 for leading a lap

5 for leading the most laps

Also, for the first 26 races the winner gets 10 bonus points that go towards the chase, but that doesn't count until the chase starts in 3 weeks at Louden.

  3. 195 is the most

  4. the winner of a race receives 185 points plus five bonus points for leading a lap - they have to have led at least the last lap in order to win. if that driver also leads the most laps, he gets five more bonus points, so the max points a driver can get is 195. the least a driver who starts the race can get is 34. thus, the most one driver can gain on another is 161 (195-34).

of course, if a racer doesn't start the race, he gets 0 points. this is not important for those in the top-35 as they are guaranteed a starting spot, and unless they get lost on the way to the track or the driver is unable to drive (injury, car won't start, etc), they'll get the 34 points. but for those "go or go homers" who don't make the race, they can lose up to 195 points to a winner who leads the most laps.

  5. the maximum is 195 that they can get minimum is 34 so the maximum that someone can lose is 161, but without extra points it is only 151
